The location is very good – near the Kursky trainstation and a minute’s walk from the Metro Baumanskaya in the scenic area of Old Moscow with a rich cultural heritage and excellent infrastructure. The famous Arbat and Red Square are in 5 minutes by subway. The same short way is to the main Moscow railway stations. The “Artist” offers spacious lounge area of ​​100 square meters with a modern kitchen, a large dining table, TV, library, comfortable sofas. Here you can spend time with friends, cook, watch a movie, as well as work at the computer. The hostel has high ceilings lots of windows and sunlight. The lighting with night sky effect, nice interior design, good expensive furniture, beautiful paintings and photographs, as well as a great view from the windows create an atmosphere of comfort and joy. The price includes bed linen and towels, ironing facilities, hairdryer, and a computer for guests. We are friends with many bars, clubs, theaters and concert halls of Moscow, so offers organized entertainment on the night capitals, as well as discounts on tickets. Attractions

The main attractions are just across the road from the hostel. This famous house of Kazakov, Elohovsky Cathedral and the Pushkin Library. Lefortovsky Palace and Gardens “Hermitage” are also close. In the region there are many historical and architectural monuments of the 18th century, old mansions and tenements. For guests who like contemporary art in the 15-minute walk in a former winery is one of the main sites of Moscow Art called “Vinzavod” with many galleries, exclusive shops and clubs.

How to find us

We are located at 30 steps from the subway Baumanskaya. Coming out of the subway turn right, to your left will be a building of 1889, with mosaics on the facade. Go to the second entrance, and then a separate button on the intercom, go to the 6th floor, apartment  20. Hostel Artist at Baumanskaya is one subway station  from the Kursksy railway station. For arrivals at Yaroslavsky, Kazansky and Leningradsky railway station, we offer our other hostel nearby.
