Attractions

The main attractions situated within walking distance from the hostel are the Theatre of Eugene Vakhtangov, the Old Arbat Street, Moscow Zoo, Planetarium. The Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Embassies of the US, Spain, Turkey and Brazil are also in the vicinity of the hostel.

How to find us

You need to reach Arbatskaya metro station (blue line #3). Get out of metro and take the underpass to cross to the other side of the street. You will find yourself in front of a large building with an arch on Novy (New) Arbat Street (Новый Арбат). There are offices of MTC and МГТС (local phone operator) in that building. The arch will lead you to Merzlyakovsky lane (Мерзляковский переулок). Take the lane and go till the second turn. Take the left turn to Skatertny lane (Скатерный переулок) and then take the first turn to the right to reach Medvezhy lane (Медвежий переулок). Pass 100 metres and turn to the left to Stolovy lane (Столовый переулок). Go all the way to the house #11, bld. 2. Welcome to Artist Hostel!
